Cookie Policy

TapEquity (operated by Sierra International Network Inc.) uses a small number of cookies and similar browser-storage technologies. This page lists them and explains your choices.

Strictly necessary (always on)

• Login session — a random token that keeps you signed in (browser storage `te_wtoken` / `te_token`). Deleted when you sign out.
• Your choices — remembers whether you accepted cookies and which notifications you asked for (`te_cookies`, `te_notify_asked`). Kept until you clear app/browser storage or a policy change requires a new choice.
• Offline cache — the app shell (pages, icons) so the app opens without a connection. Contains no personal data.
• Bot protection — the current release uses rate limits, a hidden honeypot field, and form timing. Cloudflare

Turnstile is not enabled; this policy and the signup disclosure must be updated before it is introduced.

Optional (only with your consent)

• Analytics — anonymous counts of screens used and errors, so we can improve the app. No advertising identifiers on the website.
• Advertising — TapEquity may show clearly labelled, first-party sponsor content. It does not use Google rewarded ads, and viewing, opening, or skipping sponsor content never changes points or shares. The current app does not use an advertising identifier for this content.

Your choice

When you first open TapEquity we ask you to choose Accept all or Essential only. Your choice is recorded (date, version, IP address) so that we can prove it later, and you can change it at any time from Menu › Settings › Privacy or by clearing your browser data. We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an "Essential only" choice.
